Ashley Dias was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1990 until she moved to South Florida with her family where she now resides in Royal Palm Beach. She soon took up sketching and began by drawing characters from her favorite cartoon shows which then turned into the creation of her own characters. Her new found love with art began and grew into something that even herself at the time could not comprehend. She moved from the traditional pencil and paper to the computer with a new interest in graphic design.

With a new art medium, she started to expand her new craft while leaving the traditional ways in her past. In the summer of 2012, she graduated from The Florida State University with a B.S. in Information Technology and Communications and started her career in Marketing and Design in the beautiful city of West Palm Beach. Yet, she was missing something…
Out of a fit of frustration and panic due to stress she picked up a pencil and a sketchbook for the first time in years and began to manifest her emotions into creativity. Letting her sentiments and worries flow into that paper gave her a sense of security and strength which was once missing. From there, she began putting her imagination to canvas and found passion with the acrylic medium creating her own blend of contemporary and pop art.
